Servers located in a server room or a dedicated data center are configured computers that are continuously connected to the Internet and constantly running. Why are server rooms so important? They ensure daily access to large amounts of data, not only storing it but also processing it. Server rooms in professional data centers are separate rooms with fully adapted environments for efficient operation. Another important element organizing the server room is specialized server racks, where servers are installed. Their size and other features mainly depend on their purpose and the weight of the equipment mounted inside. A server room must be equipped with appropriate environmental conditions, such as air cleanliness, humidity, and temperature. These conditions are usually maintained by precision air conditioning systems, which provide the right amount of air with specific parameters crucial for the proper functioning of IT equipment. What should be remembered? Above all, that operating a large number of servers requires a significant amount of electrical power. Therefore, the electrical installations in the server room must be properly designed to ensure safe, uninterrupted, and reliable operation of both the equipment and the personnel managing the room.
